Question 1

What makes your work and working time model special and what benefits do you see?

I have a regional role with  leadership responsibility; this is providing a unique platform  in case needing to come to a full time position. It also has provided me a unique opportunity to reestablish different ways of doing business in a more effective and efficient way. This is not a very frequent opportunity in my country and this makes Henkel quite unique in the market

I start my day early in Mexico 7 am to leverage from the time differences in the region. I leave the office by 1 pm. All my meetings are scheduled with a duration no more than 1 hour with a very clear agenda to cover. I have family and personal commitments in the afternoon that  have obliged me to avoid making exception to my working areas.

Question 3

What advantages does your line manager have in supporting your work model?

Aside from  a very committed and motivated employee. They have been able to have an experience purchasing director develop further IMS concept within an emerging market.

Question 4

Did the opportunity to work under flexible conditions significantly influence your decision to continue working?

Definitively, not having this position would have made me consider leaving Henkel and staying home.
